A 20-year IT veteran. Matt spent he first 12 years of his career in various programming, networking, & management roles in the Banking and Insurance sector. Then decided to dive head first into the dot com boom.

His technical leadership & management were used to guide an Australian start up through IPO, which resulted in the expansion through the Asia Pacific region, America and the UK.

Shortly thereafter he co-founded his own startup, developing a mobile telephone based CRM system that targeted the music and entertainment industries. Forming a partnership with Logica PLC, the organisation soon attained Universal & Sony music as their first clients. After a trade sale, he has since performed CTO & IT Director roles for a number of UK based start-ups.

When not teaching and living the art of ruby on rails Matt can be found looking into amateur quantum physics, buzkashi and playing polo
